I have a working reboot script for my modem.......wen i run reboot.bat frm
telnet it reboots modem.......also when i sceduled it to some less time ,say 30 mins......den also it reboots.......

but now its not working.......when i scheduled d script to autorun in morning.....its not running at all.:wall:......cuz in usage it shows the seesion ending wen i manually reboot modem.......

so i tried again by running d reboot.bat manually in morning and it reboots modem.......:(

How can tat be possible?
why is it not running when scheduled?

also i have disable vista to sleep automatically?

sowhat may be the reasons for dis?

I tried many schedulers.......It shutdowns system or reboots it on time........bt doesnt run reboot script...strange!!

the tool is nt working.........bt wat may be d reasons for dis?it automatically reboots modem when i scheduled it for say 1 hr.......but for same if i scheduled it for morning.......den it doesn't reboots modem.....but automatically shuts down system safely.......

try to format the comp and then try to use the scripts...

LoL.

But seriously, I have read quite a few posts and I'm not that a fan of the bridged mode for one simple reason.

If your ADSL connection drops between the download window the bridge mode does not redial your connection.

If anyone did not understand what I just spoke about, try this...

[*]Login with your bridged mode and begin some downloading (say torrents)
[*]Unplug your phone line for a moment and then plug it back again
[*]Your torrent downloads will have stalled by now and the ADSL light is blinking to resume connection on your modem.
[*]You think everything will be back to normal but it WON'T!
[*]Your bit torrent software is going monkeys trying to go online and will fail on you. Meanwhile your comp will still show that you are connected via bridge but you are effectively offline.
[/list]This is a major deterrent.

I feel running a script through a scheduler is a simpler option. But then I ain't perfect.

I just checked today whether its running the script on automatic scheduling.....wat i saw is the cmd window appears at scheduled tym and goes off within 1 sec without rebooting modem.....wat can be the reason for dis?any1 having any suggestions to resolve dis prob?
