yup something along those lines is what he said to me when I told him that supreme court had stayed the mandatory linking for the time being. He said then go and complain to the supreme court and that their system doesnt allow them to do KYC without aadhar.
in case of sbi... sending a mail to their higher end support system usually works. i once got a favorable response after sending a complaint to chairman@sbi.co.in.
as long as the issue is legally justifiable... you can get the upper management to send a message to your local bank manager to follow the procedure properly.
of course, this only works when you can wait for the complaint to get processed. most people can't. and this has enabled aadhaar to spread like a virus in this country.
