Read this thread to see some amazing arguments from senior lawyer Shyam Divan. this is the kind of stuff you usually see on american legal shows. the case would resume on tuesday next week where the government would put forward their stand. i can already imagine the kind of bullshit they would use to patronize the court. about how the nation is losing billions of dollars in income tax that is not paid by people because pan cards are not a reliable platform and all that shit.

i do not expect the ruling to go in the favor of the people. would be applying for aadhaar once it is clear that the courts are not going to do the right thing in this specific case.
