Accessing through ADSL Router

hi all,I'm having Dataone connection provided with Huawei MT882 router. Now, I want to access my pc through MT882 router when connected to internet using a dial up modem is it possible to do so?? If yes please help me how to do that.kumar

hmm....you want to use a remote desktop? if thats so, then you will need to use a service like www.gotomypc.com or pcanywhere (http://sea.symantec.com/content/product.cfm?productid=16) or if you want to use the plain old remote desktop then you will have to forward the ports (dont remember the ports) through your router. Then you will need to use a service like dyndns. that will allow you to connect to your pc despite the dynamic ip. well, actually you can connect to any ip but the problem with dynamic ips is that you will need to remember your ip everytime you login...
