I am a "customer" of ACT broadband and have been using their service for 6 months now. I was previously a user of Airtel broadband (for over 5 years) primarily because i was under the impression that Airtel offers better products and customer service. I moved to ACT Broadband after moving from Chennai to Bangalore and am currently using their 5 Mbps @ Rs.999 plan. I have no qualms in admitting that i am a highly satisfied customer of ACT...not just with the speed they offer, but also service and overall experience.
My husband is a movies and gaming buff and spends a lot of time on the internet downloading movies, streaming serials/ movies and playing MMORPG games. Since he is very particular about getting the speed that he's paying for, he does frequent speed tests to confirm the same. 5 Mbps speed is what we've subscribed to and 5 Mpbps is the speed we've been getting almost 95% of the times since we started using the plan. The best thing is that the plan has a high FUP of 50GB and even after crossing the FUP, the speed is dropped to a respectable level of 512 kbps and not 256 kbps - the case with other ISPs offering high speed plans. There is no other service provider in Bangalore offering such high speed plans that too with such consistency. Another noteworthy points is that which the download speeds are amazing, even the upload speeds are unmatched. I can honestly say that i have not had a more satisfying and hassle free service experience with any other service provider and have no regrets about my decision to go with ACT broadband.
