This is one of the best service i had got from any service provider. Trust me i ain't joking, Generally a executive is on his best behavior when he is getting a sale. We wont mention how his behavior changes after you have fallen to his bait, its not something we aren't aware of. But you should appreciate how ACT Broadband trains their executive to ensure that they show the true colours of company since the day you think of subscribing to their service. Its a blunt way of telling that this is how we treat you, take it if you can handle us!!
It started last Saturday when i decided to try "ACT Fibrenet" for my office use, i am using BSNL since many years and apart from its high cost (comparatively) and low fup, i haven't had much issues. I wanted more and hence filled in the details on ACT website requesting for a connection.
Get a call promptly and the i ask the manager to send in the executive on monday to check whether the connection is avaliable in my office.
Monday Come's:
Executive Prabhakaran calls and tells that he is in the area and would like to come.
I OK'ed him.
Within 10 mins he steps in, hands me a leaflet and tells the details, i mentally decide on getting ACT Flash, but he advises me to get ACT Blaze since the difference is not much and i would get a free installation on it. I agree, take the doc detail that i need to submit and tell him that i would call him after i have all the required doc.
He gives me a dirty look and tell that why didn't you get the documents ready, i tell him that i didn't know about this and i had called to survey my office and let me know whether the connection is available.
He leaves and tells me to get the document ready the next day, i again clarify that i would call when its ready.
The next day, i left for a meeting in other part of the county, i get a call from prabhakaran and he ask's about the document, i again tell that i would call him when i have it ready. His reply was this.
Are you actually serious about the connection, when do you need it?
My temper was raising with his attitude yet i replied calmly telling him that i would get the connection within this month, when i hear the call disconnected tone.
He even had the audacity to send in a sms and telling not to waste his time.
I was in a meeting so didn't call back to give him a piece of my mind, but this really set me up.
Have complaint on ACT website about the same.
I think its high time you rein in these rouge elements in your company, else what little reputation that you have built would be lost.
Thanks
