@MrGordon I'm not sure about that, in fact i was not aware of safe custody option in ACT until you mentioned. I was under the impression only airtel provides such a option. Let me know if you can find out the details.
Another thing i noticed, ACT provides around 500 Mbps speed on 400Mbps plan, not sure its temporary thing or its always like this. Anyone has idea on what is the speed in 200Mbps plan? In the basic plan i used to get only 50Mbps which is the plan speed.
@hariselio Sure. Yes, they have the same safe custody option as Airtel, however it’s not pro-rated. So they charge the 200+tax even if you opt for it just for 10 days in a billing cycle.
The last time I used it, was on safe custody for 1 month 20 days. In addition to the 200+tax x 2 for 2 months, they added a Rs 150 reconnection fee. This seemed unfair as they charged the safe custody fee as well, I opened a ticket and they reversed it.
Regarding the speed, I was on the 100 Mbps plan and on speedtests I used to see 115 Mbps or so. Now on the 400 Mbps plan I see 450-460 Mbps so I think the extra buffer is some 15% or so.
