Its been nearly a month and half since I got a new ACT connection. I have 2 other connections (one at my parent's place and one at office) for more than 2 years now. But the experience with my current connection is making all the previous good experiences come to naught.
I got a new connection (ACT Blaze - 30Mbps) on July 27, 2015. Barely a week later, the speed had dropped to 3-10 Mbps. A complaint through email failed to receive a response for 3 days, after which I wrote a mail to the nodal office. The issue was fixed in the next 3 days and everything was fine, before it got worse last week. The speed again started dropping to 3Mbps, and this time only in the evenings. Another complaint followed, and was 'supposedly' resolved in 3 days. The reason I say 'supposedly' is because even before I could test it, I completely lost my connection by the next day.
I then lodged a complaint at their office in Indiranagar and was assured it would be resolved by the next day. This day came and went with no connection. I then emailed the nodal officer from whom I am still awaiting a reply. I have now received a message saying the issue will be resolved in 2 more days. It seems more like a delaying tactic rather than coming to a solution. My work is taking a beating because of lack of internet.
I have finally come to a state where I just want to disconnect this irresponsible service and claim a refund (as I have paid for 6 months in total). I have even sent a mail to the nodal officer requesting for a disconnection.
Will keep you guys updated with further developments on this issue.
