one more thing ..this site is mainly for SUN DTH .. u can raise the advantages and dis advantages of sun dth , . not for ur ur personal vengence place ..pls .

I don't have any vengence against any dth sercive. Even against Tata Sky. There is reason why I said Arasu cable should be hit is because, if they give all the channels for Rs.150 or so then Dish tv, Sun dth, Tatasky all will be forced to reduce their price further.

When Sun dth gave for Rs.75, Dish tv reduced its price. If someone give it even less whats the problem for us?

Won't we not be happy if we get for Rs.50? Or will be insisting on paying Rs.100?

I am not the owner or employee or reseller of any dth service. So I will be happy as long as they reduce their price and I don't mind about their profit as they are not going to give a share to me.

So lets all pray for the competition thereby reduction in charges.

dhoni .. i understand ur feelings .. if prices will decrease ..surely all of us will be gained ..no doubt in it .. but certain things we must keep in mind .. all pay channel signal providers are fixed their price .. but the cable persons able to collect lesser money from its customers and not paid the exact amount to that pay channel providers by means of bogus accounts ..in DTH it is not possible .. so DTH must be higher ..

here in tamil nadu , the govt left their duties and only doing some un wanted business like liquor sales and now cable business .. every child in TN knows why the govt starts cable .. and also it will never succeed in cable war with marans .

dhoni ... what i mean for vengence is , pls refer above ....now lot of friends played like this .. merits and demerits available in all places . really it is a good place ..in some days before friends exchanged their technical ideas .. but now it become like a quarreling place ...

so ..let us all will become friends and exchange our thoughts and will teach to new comers ..

Yours was not a blade. If they reduce let us enjoy and if they didn't let us do according to its merits My signature does have a meaning. I hope you visit other sections and also my previous posts busted few of them. Few people have signature like this:

Arasu cable may get pay channels but last mile cable operator will now cheat Arasu more in the number of connections they have It is difficult for them to cheat Hatway or SCV as they cannot be bribed easily. But for Arasu it isn't the case. My area cable operator cheats even SCV!! Don't know how much he is going to cheat Arasu In the end public money is wasted for their family fights :wall:

ACV launched in Tanjore.At present they r providing 60 channels.Dont know what r all the channels they r providing.I heard this info in today's AIR news.The govt. also gave assurance that they will increase the channel count to 70 in next 1-2 months.

Karunanidhi to launch Arasu Cable Corp tomorrow

Arasu Cable TV Corporation (ACTVC), floated by the DMK Government in Tamil Nadu to regulate the Cable TV business in the State, would be launched by Chief Minister M Karunanidhi tomorrow. This was perhaps for the first time that a government was launching its own Cable TV company, to streamline the business and provide high quality and digital feed at economical rates and also to provide a level playing field to all stakeholders.
Mr Karunanidhi would launch it in Thanjavur from the State Secretariat here through video conferencing:hysterical:.
From Thanjavur feeds would given to operators in Thanjavur, Nagapattinam, Trichy and Tiruvarur Districts. The cable services in the Coimbatore zone would be launched in the next ten days, before extending it to the southern parts of the state like Tirunelveli and Tuticorin before August 15. After subsequently launching in Vellore and its surrounding areas, it would be launched in Chennai in September. In the first phase, the ACTVC would provide 60 channels which would later be increased to 70.
