MK has clarified that for non-cas customers, rs. 100 will be the ceiling and will be less than what other cable operators charge (150 to 300). No indication of number of channels. For cas area, TRAI rules will apply. Everything clear now.

now MK told, in non CAS area he will collect Rs 100 for including pay channels ...and CAS area without pay channels Rs 100 and pay channels according to TRAI

actually first TRAI wants to save customers from DADAs huge payment collection and introduce CAS ..to reduce the payment in metro cities ..and there is no CAS in non metro cities ..
TRAI may feel , metro people are enjoying TRAI s scheme ..

But now non CAS people only enjoying all channels .. for only 100rs
poor metro people paid 100 rs and still searching a exact DTH ..

Why TRAI doing un favour to METRO people ..

now in TN govt itself giving signal ...
so there should not be any difference between people ..
through out state it must be same cost..

friends why dont u think abt it ..and raise questions to TRAI.

Dear Cost of Living is high in Metros. Still people can afford. But in Rural areas, its not the case...

ACV will make a mess of everything; the TN government will subsidize it heavily from public funds and may even give it free to those who got a free tv. This action was predicted by many when free tvs were announced, and free cable and free electricity will follow.

TN government will use this as a social service and vote catching exercise. It will be a business blunder.

How long can TN govt. continue providing TV channels in Rs 100. How will they earn. If at all this idea is in benefit of common why other state govt & central govt not doing this.
May be after getting TV + channels at cheaper rates people will be happy, no matter inflation rate goes above 11%, petrol price goes sky high, no jobs, no eductaion. Yet people will be happy as they are getting TV channels at Rs 100

MSO give their signal to local cable oeprator in Rural areas, poor cable operator who are based in rural find difficult to collect Rs. 100 pm from the customers...........Customers find it difficult to pay Rs.100 to the cable operators and thats the reason they delay in their payment to cable operator for their TV viewing. There are some cable operators in rural areas of TN who charge only Rs. 60 which includes just all tamil channels........
