So mom wants to buy one. Flipkart has 5-6 models out of which one particular Philips model appear to be exceedingly popular considering the number of reviews for it. Saw a bunch of videos of food cooking in it on YouTube. Looks interesting.

Questions... If anyone owns such a product...

1. Worth the price?
2. Should I buy it?
3. What all can be cooked in it?
4. Taste of food compared to deep fryed?
5. Anything else I should know?

Air fryers are simple machines but they might require repairs once in a while. Check if the company actually has a service center in your area. And home service.

I have been flirting with the idea of getting an air fryer fir the love of fried items. I just don't know what can I cook with it apart from the fries.

So those who are still using it, can you guys suggest which brand would be to go for(I am seeing Philips, but don't know the how much litres) and what can I cook with it?

mine is mostly being used for roasting/warming peanuts and makhanas. if your primary usage is going to be vegetarian, a small sized version should be enough. bigger ones are most suited for non vegetarians i suppose.
