heh. i should go look on twitter how people are responding to their 3g services. last time i was around a reliance store, i could not see ANYTHING related to the launch of 3G networks. airtel store on the other hand has been showing 3g banners and boards for a long time now and it has not been launched.

well he does talk about seeing a hoarding. of course, there are no confirmation or clarification. that is why it is a rumor.

Its been like 1 month or so that people are getting the signals but no dates when the service will start. It does not seem to be with testing, more with timing and Brand.Or may be still undecided abt the tariff/data for 3G services.I have been waiting all this while to check Airtel first and decide whether to go for BSNL 3G.

i do not see any reason to delay the launch if their tests are complete... i have been seeing some tweets from airtel employees who are involved in the network establishment. recent tweets are positive in nature.

well, wy brand like airtel will put hoardings in Thiruvallur about 3G launch and not in cities like chennai and bangalore. strange and also feel that claim is fake

well i would assume that they might launch their network in smaller cities first? less risky and real world testing?

well, if we go by airtel previous service launches records, nothing was revealved before the actual launch dates. it is when we wake up in the morning and see newpaper that we see surprises from airtel
