Airtel 3G Tariffs and Packages

When i replied with 1, i just got a message that 3G services are activated. Never got a message reading out 30p/20KB.I cannot guarantee but you can give a try.

LOLdont worry I dont mind. Will give it a try.Actually yesterday I went to Tata DoCOMO centre to give a try. He said that there are no sims available and said that I need to pay 49 for sim + 64 for initial recharge and then the respective topup for 3G data access.I still think BSNL is the best option but dont have time to go to a BSNL office for info and further I need to finish off the talktime in my airtel mobile

guys when i had sended msg to 121, and called up cc, to my surprise they told you have been activated with 750 plan. i got 440 v shock. then i asked them to change it to 103 plan to be on safer side

also friends, the technical snag in airtel network is not going off. i am not able to login to Airtel 3G netork in my workplace inspite of having signals. it says NO access when i try to login manually. other place i am able to access

Some times even if you log on to 3G n/w, you cannot access data. A weird problem.

I also got a BSNL 3G postpaid connection and its 3G coverage is awesome. It may take more than an year for airtel to match coverage of bsnl.

nope. I replied with "1" to that message. Got some weireder reply with selection options just like IVR.

Hey What speed are you getting on BSNL 3G?

I get 1Mbps most of the time and some times torrent downloads hitting 3Mbps mark. Early morning is the time when speed will be max because of less number of users donwloading.

@Dhananjay Any idea abt the recharge denominations in BSNL 3G for prepaid. I will move to prepaid in BSNL
Right now i am on Pay as you go plan with no montly rental. Every MB costs 1Rs. I use bsnl 3g rarely as i bought it for my wife.

BSNL pay as you go plan works out cheaper than some of airtels fixed denomination data plans.
