someone on the forum had recently posted a small software app that you just had to run in the background.

it automatically routed all traffic through a proxy. no need to download a custom firefox build or changing browser settings.

i had downloaded it and played with it. worked well. i forgot the name now.

Purchased the VPN already .. had not option left ..
They have blocked some of the sites which r essential for my work ..

Anyways now I use my 4mbps speed on torrents anytime in the day ..


Hey hitman, which VPN did u purchase and are the torrent speeds are good on it? From my experience, since the VPN servers are based in US, UK etc, the ping times are very high.any suggestions for VPN ?

Yeah I bought from hidemyass .. its for $11 per month ..
Speeds r good for US based servers.. So far I have used those only ..
Torrent I get full speed.. 4mbps .. But ping is high .. But I am not much into games .. So not bothered abt it much .. here is the speedtest result ..
They have over 1000 server so I have just used the first 2 only .. No idea abt others ..

LOL i am that person who told you all to download the application named "Tor" but some other person just informed that it is illegal as the nodes do cause threats..

I know about TOR. The app i am talking about is something else. It was a small download and worked with all apps without changing any configurations.

Its a 1.13mb download, just unzip it and run. don't need to alter any cconfigs.

But you cannot download torrents with it another application similar to ultrasurf is "Freegate" It supports SOCKS 5 required for torrents just try it also..
