Airtel Broadband: Does airtel provide free mcafee antivirus

You are better off without McAffee. There are plenty of free options like Avast that are waaaaaaay better than McAffee.
 
@aboveI Completely agree wid you..My Dell came preinstalled with Macafee and it's one of the worst antivirus i came across.It bogs down the system like anything..at last uninstalled the Junk and installed my fav NOD 32.:cool2:
 
Anti-viruses are merely bloatware. If you know how to stay away from infections, you don't need anything.
If however, you need something that bad, you'd like to use NOD 32. Worth every penny. Or, turn to Avast! for a free solution.
 
they provide airtel av for Rs 75/month which runs on F-secures engine...f-secure's av in turn uses Kaspersky's engine plus its own!!!:O

mcafee is actually very good if you know how to use it

this is a problem with many of my firnds too who just don't know how to use and have problem

i don't have a simple problem as it works awesome for me and doesn't interfere in the normal work process

i works fine for my PC and doesn't bog the system down

other ones do

Mcafee just stays at the back not like other which just keep the buzzing with alerts
