Its 150kbps = 18 KBps :(I'm pretty ok with MTNL, but if only they had good upload speeds :(

just got a call from airtel retention dept. trying to sell me speed on demand, i said you got something without fup then talk otherwise just go ahead withmy request of termination of services. will take max 7 working days, im moving to either reliance or mtnl.p.s. funny thing is the airtel representative's call kept on disconnecting because he had problem with network. :D

go for real unlimited plans ... without fair usage policy

I got 1mbps upload on mtnl 1mbps plan for about 2months when i got the plan, then it was reduced to 512 kbps, it has been almost 1 year since i got the plan (last week of march 2010) & i have had zero downtime so far.

What area are you from? And do you know a way to get my upload speed changed to 512kbps? The CC guys are clueless :|

Not really seen what they say on MTNL Delhi site, but for Mumbai upload speed is clearly mentioned as 256 kbps for download speeds in the tariff table itself. At least that is what I had seen a few months ago. Not checked recently. If you call CC they will almost certainly tell you it is 256 kbps. So they are not wrong or even clueless in this case. However, the fact that some are getting better upload speeds is probably an error on the part of MTNL and not something I as a customer can depend upon.
