yap! MTNL's prices are very competitive. These day's am seeing that they are having good service as well..Luks like babus are slowly waking up.

mera to bsnl hai. terrible customer support. unke sarkari office ke dhakke khane padenge.

In noida BSNL's customer support is pathetic..here people are stuck b/w the proverbial kuan and khaai..as the only other DSL provider is fast turning from a mountain into a Khaai

MTNL is a different ball game alltogether..i have used MTNL since the time they launched BB..and they are much better in customer service than BSNL..but MTNL is only available in Delhi/mumbai :wall:

i am doomed more than most of the other users here.

i just paid 4500 for the IPTV connection. and if i am to get rid of airtel, i would have to find a solution for television again.

Mein baal baal bach gaya. I was about to go in for Airtel IPTV

I am waiting for a e-mail / written confirmation from Airtel. Once i get it i am on my way to conusmer court for deficency of services.

I am sorry, guys, but work is killing me these days, and I have been out of the loop. I definitely want to do something about this. So as soon as we can have some definite proof and details (as to area the FUP is being implemented in etc.) I think we should do the following:

[*]Start a petition along the lines of "We are loyal Airtel Customers. We have loved your service. Typically, we are the people who our family and friends come to for tech / internet advice, and till now, we have whole-heartedly recommended Airtel. But with this FUP we think that Airtel has taken a massive backstep and has stunted the growth and spread of the internet in India. In our eyes, in one fell swoop Airtel will lose all the goodwill it has garnered over the years. If Airtel continues to apply such a regressive policy, we the undersigned will no longer recommend your services and will discontinue all Airtel products and services ourselves etc. etc."
[*]If they still don't relent, we approach TRAI.
[*]Then the appropriate legal proceedings (Consumer Court/ TDSAT).
[/list]What do you say?

Airtel is driving me nuts.

This is the latest email from a customer care representative that just dropped in my inbox:

I would like to confirm that there has been some miscommunication about the Fair use Policy as we have not implemented the same in Delhi.

We would surely inform you before implementing the policy or making any changes in your plan.

For further information, or any query please feel free to Call me on the below mentioned number.
Best regards

and the company clearly states on their website that the policy is now on in delhi based plans.

I have the same issue, Admin. The CS rep told me it hadn't been implemented in Noida yet. This is confusing.
