I think fair usage for any plan should be atleast in the range of 250 GB plus

Or I wont mind even if Airtel were to offer 2 mbps unlimited at Rs 1000 even with a fair usage of 5 GB bcoz I will still get 1 mbps unlimited after that.

but they're not doing that, are they? they increased the pricing of some of the UL plans, as far as i understand.

and why should you agree on that? isnt quoted speed supposed to honored?

tomm they come up with a 8mbps ul...hit 10 gb and get 256kbps thereon.... for any pricing, i wouldnt take it.

you dont mind..but Airtel does mind ..Airtel is rapping customers of Value799 (256kbps Ul) or even 128kbps..why r u even mentioning mbps?

yap exactly.there should not be any fair usage policy at all.be it 50 GB or 500GB.Customer's are paying for Unlimited download so airtel has no right to cap their download saying it's not fair.They should pack their bags and call off all their broadband service if they can't afford to provide customer's the right they deserve.Now since their fair ****ing policy is made official, we should report it to Dot and TRAI with a link to Airtel's fair usage pdf.

We assure you that the data transfer limits remain unlimited and no change has been made in the same.

This statement contradicts the FUP, so why is it there ?

..or do they mean nothing bad happens provided you remain 'reasonable' ?

Either way it confuses the whole thing.

they are talking about data transfer limits.

a user can continue to download as much as he wants to at the slowed down speeds. that's what they are saying. it's still an unlimited connection!

it is quite clear...

the "reasonable" amount is 13% of the max data usage of ur plan which I presume will not recieve ur approval as a customer.

U pay for 100% and in return u get 13 % of the promised speed.
