airtel actually has to deny connections in many areas coz their are no free lines or bandwidth. so they tried to squeeze the users who are most demanding. reducing the congestion in the process..and thus no more need to add extra infrastructure.

would be great to see them facing crawling speeds once their connections hit the limits set by airtel.

many of them having critical dependencies on internet will not shy away from sueing airtel for damages ( those 'contract conditions' on the back of the form hold no real water, i tell you. it' just like indian IT companies making employees sign work bonds...which is basically illegal under fundamental rights provided by indian constitution). a good number will move to other ISP, who will only be too happy to sign a QoS adherence contract with these businesses.

and by the way, IMHO, the difference in limits for business and home plans, which is 100GB in 1mbps connection, is sorta discrimination and can be a case in point to sue Airtel. ;)

OK guys, post the link to the petition in all the forums/places you can like all famous torrent sites (bwt, etc.), social n/w sites, make the link as you gtalk/Yahoo status msg, etc. Make an informative video, put on youtube, put attractive tags.BTW, i recently saw a nice graffiti made on one of the biggest flyovers of the country. Lol... we should not go to that extent writing "Airtel sucks" on walls now, shall we?

To Admin,
"We, the undersigned, therefore pledge that, should Airtel [[not]] rollback and discontinue this “Fair Usage Policy” within 15 days of receipt of this petition"

Is that correct? "........should airtel rollback and discontinue....."
