it has linux in it.i think IPv6 will actually be implemented in haste after the IPv4 address run out totally.till that time it will not much be cared abt by most ISPs
with every second electronic device (tv, fridge, mobile phone) getting connected to the internet.. we would for sure run out of IP addresses pretty soon

We dont need REAL/PUBLIC IPs for fridge/tv, that can be via NAT without much problem. Even current mobiles via GPRS get private IPs and not public. So basically thats not the cause of IPv4 running out.
IPv4 is running out because there are too many computers/laptops and devices requiring P2P features (VoIP boxes) coming up. But then VoIP is now possible over NAT as well.

question:I have a beetle 220bx router.if all ipv4 addresses are in use, will my router take ipv6 address for my computer? or does it mean router companies will milk us?
