yes i hope that happens soon.
hopefully they will cut down prices we are stuck on 256kbps for 999 for too long now...need some price cut.......

i thought tat UL-1mbps plan will be introduced after two years and so after an year (i.e the third year) UL-2Mbps plan will be introduced but now the UL-1Mbps plan is introduced and also 2-mbps plan will be introduced by 6-12months and so there is a possibility tat AIRTEL would throw away their current hi-speed b/w such as 128 & 256-kbps plans and give the 1-mbps for less than or not much higher than 1k after few months

To expect such a drastic price fall seems a little optimistic, I don't think they plan to phase out their low speed plans anytime soon

I'm not sure, but I believe the official airtel site has a my account feature where you should be able to check these details..you just have to register for it.

You don't get it using any sort of configuration at the client side, it is just sheer luck.

dude m getting 2mbps speed since a week now on my old plan(200mb data trnsfr lmt+night unlimited top up) which has 256kb/s speedi m from delhi

yeh i called the cc up. they said id have to submit a form to any of their centres after which they will provide me with a login id to their sites.
