Airtel Broadband: What Speeds Should I Expect?

I now have the Airtel 512 UL Plan... I called up the CC and they said the speeds have been upgraded. What speeds should I expect with this plan both upload and download speeds? ThanksCrazysah

minimum of 80% of promised.... u'll get approx 52-56 KB/s UL/DL

I get 50 kbps most of the day... other times it is 55-60!

IT IS REALLY SIMPLE read tems and conditions ___airtel is a hairy cousin of ICICI - can send recovery agents... nobody knowsI GOT 512 KBPS PLAN HOPING I GET 512KBPS SYMMETRIC(64 KBPS UPSTREM/DOWNSTREAM)BUT I AM NOW TOLD IT ISNT SO( READ THE FINER PRINT)i GET 512 KBPS = 334 DOWNLOAD (55 KBPS ) CAPPED + 200 kbps(min) ~~~ 534 kbps for 1999 + taxes = RS 2200mmmmmmmmm.......it is a drag that bharti - airtel hussles the IT customers(experts)and their techcoms( IT experts) hack my internet using my default router settings and using my account details i repeatedly asked them about my doubts... yet their head assured me it isnt so- i wud get full 64 upstream and downstream.bull@#@#$ now i cant even shift back plan without losing moneyWAHAAAAAHHHHA i wud see how they fare well in indiaI am very very angry at their policies
