The plans are public :
These plans are of course not available in all regions. So, no, it's not like you are being picked up in a lottery :)

Lucky guys, 16mbps, I struggle to get 1mbps and that too @Rs.198/- per GB, thats my current most expensive expense.

Since last 2 days, I am having hard time, I am not having any reliable connection.
Airtel 2G - Disconnects a lot
Reliance NC + doesn't gives seamless connectivity, Sleep for a while making my session go lost. (Fails to work with TP-Link 4320 for no reasons)
Aircel 3G, Was working but I reacharged the above two buggers to screw my happiness
Just bought another 7.2mbps, Huawei 303C modem @ Rs.1380 from ebay,
BSNL is here, but you get extra headaches bundled, every morning you have to search and kiss the old lineman for stolen wire to crappy line etc etc, this made me hate myself more than anything, Can't think of it anymore...
Could have lived without this if I had Tikona broadband available.
Tikona doesn't seems to come to my area as of now.
Have been asking neighbors to unite and give 6-7 connections to Tikona, but seems everybody's busy with switching DATA SIM CARD games
and don't want to start and join a party...
Broadband is a dream yet to come true :-)

yeah. when i read stories like yours, i realize that what i have is something that is not available as an option to millions of folks in the country even if they are ready to pay for it. :P

Yeah I know by now you can kinda recognized me as the Internet Connectivity Frustro from allahabad
Might catch you sometime in my lifetime at GGN/NCR mall and introduce myself like this :-)
I would easily pay Rs.1500-2000 if anyone gives 2mbps without break, anything upto 40GB a month, No torrents, no porn.
I sometimes feel like moving to delhi, parents are there but I cannot afford a metro at the moment.
Since my parents started using Airtel Broadband, in delhi (Lajpat ngr), my father listens to Oldies live on Youtube, I asked him to buy the songs or save offline for later, he says what for 4mbps hai na,
they might shift back by this year end, I know I'll not be alone with this Internet Frustration :-)

Note the white lines between these 5 images. That's an "airtel exclusive" feature. Used to get such mailers back in 2009 as well. Nothing has changed, expect the fact that airtel has become greedier than ever, which has forced people like me to opt for BSNL. airtel's loss, not mine.

Gmail also display notifications from IP.Board horribly. Let me show you a screenshot from a desktop client.
