Airtel Family Plan

I have a primary Airtel postpaid number. I want to add my Airtel prepaid number to My Family plan.
But Airtel is porting out my prepaid number to postpaid. Can't i add a prepaid number to My Family plan?
Also if i am already paying ₹588 including taxes for the primary number, how much more would i have to pay for the calls if i selected my secondary number as a data only member(additional ₹99)?

The increased prepaid charges kind of make me consider looking into family plan. Going postpaid is kind of annoying. They really should make a prepaid family plan as well

I believe even with Family plan, Postpaid would still be expensive over Prepaid. 1800(598 x 3) for 84 days vs 1000 or something per month?

yeah need to see current pricing. and yes it only works if you have more people in the group. 5 or 6 are allowed i think?

it does provide better sharing of resources though. some members might not use a lot of 4g data as phones are mostly at home and things like that.

I am on the 999 + GST Family Plan. 4 Numbers sharing 150 GB with roll over, free calls local, std and National Roaming and 100 sms each. All 4 numbers have free calling again local, std and NR.

on the other hand... four numbers would cost 800 bucks on prepaid. 1.4GB per day and rest almost the same.

If you need data without daily limit, then postpaid makes sense, else doesn't make sense
