Airtel fiber Delhi users getting ipv6? Yes started from nov-Dec 2025

Airtel support says they don't know about the messages, no disconnection request is showing in my account. Ignore/block :cautious:

what if they apply fine.

So after about 2 years Airtel has started allotting ipv6 to my router. Seems like it happened sometime in last week or so. I noticed it yesterday anyway.

Router firware was also updated to oct 2025. Model- the titanium sht

But idiots have now disabled the option of selecting different SSID name from 5g band. I can only edit 2.4 band and 5g band auto changes to that name.

For whatever reason 5g band doesn't work well with mobile devices, they start buffering and I only use it for TV mainly, no issue with TV. Even earlier they will reset the ssid name every few days to same for both bands.

I don't understand what is the point of even doing this. The whole thing is locked anyway, why take away the ssid option.

They have full control already. This is just stupidity to not allow control over said and pass.

Everything needs to be controlled from stupid app and that doesn't offer even basic settings.

In Delhi, they don't enable it by default i had to run some exploits and got ipv6 running on it and it works but really just had ipv6 to go through ipv4 using some tunnelling on their existing hardware

edit: they recently updated router firmware for titanium2122a like last night from a version of Feb to Oct 18 2025 (T2122-V1.26AE) and it got working ipv6 no tunnelling
