Please support a campaign to request for static /56 IPv6 prefix delegation for Xstream Fibre users as per RIPE-690 and the APNIC guide, from Airtel. The current /64 dynamic prefix causes connectivity issues.
Why this matters:
IPv6 is the future.
Dynamic /64s aren't enough or stable.

If you've ditched Airtel’s default ONU and are now using an SFP or a third-party ONU, you can still set up an IP phone to make unlimited calls over Airtel Fiber.
/
Airtel uses two VLANs:
VLAN 100 – For internet
VLAN 660 – For voice services
In most areas (99%), this setup is...

So I keep hitting my limit around the 20th of every month because of heavy internet usage, in another thread, I saw people mention that you can "reset the limit by changing the plan". Can anyone expand a bit on this? Will the reset be instant? If I have an Airtel black subscription, Can it still...
Hello,
I have started to recently face an issue where my airtel router randomly reboots, between 12am and 1am every 2-3 days and sometimes it just stops doing anything, like the router is alive, lan works but the all wan interfaces are down including optics.
The only lights that are on are Power...
Hello,
I recently mailed [email protected] to enable bridge mode for my router for which they replied that I will have to opt for static IP in order for it to work. Is it actually a policy form Airtel now, or are they trying to upsell static ips? Honestly I don't want static ip since I mostly have...
Multiple folks have mention this in this thread.

Delhi users do you get ipv6 assigned on fiber connection?
Ipv6 is enabled in router settings by Airtel but no IP is assigned. by default ipv6 protocol version is not enabled by airtel and settings cannot be changed.
Ipv4 is cgnat type.
This is second time this weird coincidence has happened with me with my Airtel connection.
On Tuesday my Airtel Internet went down. Status shows no carrier in router.
I called 121 and an automated voice message told me that there's an issue and estimated uptime is 11:00 PM.
Wed evening same...
Hi guys, I’m thinking of shifting from Jio Fiber to Airtel Fiber due to public IPv4, better routing and most importantly the Jio router which needs to be restarted every now and then otherwise internet gets laggy af although speedtest results show everything fine.
I have seen an Airtel Patna...
Hey guys,
I am currently using
1)Excitel Broadband, Not the Fiber connection tho, from the past 5 years. It has been working okay, I mean like people say, that it depends upon the local isp in your area in the case of Excitel, it works 85-90% of the time.
2) Airtel(non v-fiber connection)- I...

What’s the full installation cost ( Router charge/activation charge, wiring cost etc) of new airtel broadband connection? Is there any discount in installation if I’m current local broadband user and changing to airtel?
Good news for all Kottayam'ns as Airtel updated their site with Kottayam as available locality! Though I am not sure of which all PINCODE's i think while contacting customer care they mentioned first 100 kottayam pin's or more. Worth checking out because i used to be on V-fiber in Kochi and the...
Its showing last months paid bill as unpaid and due date as 13th which usually is 22nd of every month.

Hello,

Under WAN settings I created a new connection with IPOE mode and same VLAN 100,
Also I changed the port 4 to Bridge mode.
The router restarts at this...

Hi Guys
I would like to share my experience that I have had with Airtel.
I' have been a customer of Airtel broadband for close to 12 years now. Started off with the 128 kbps back then to recently getting an upgrade after repeated requests to 40 mbps V-Fiber. Took all the energy out of me to get...
