this is a damn annoying problem that i am facing, please read and provide solutions,,,,

i am an airtel prepaid user and i am being charged rs. 10 every 5th day, from the last one month,,

here is the message that i get::::

Code:
you have been renewed for archie comics wap, subscription service on airtel wap, you have been charged rs. 10from-64611010
in total i have been charge rs. 70 till now,

i am not using my airtel wap services for past 5 months and not using any gprs services or airtel live from the past 5 months....

i am trying to contact the customer care but in vain, no reply
they tell me that i have subscribed for that archie services , but i have not..

please if anyone could provide the solution for this...........

well, call the Nodal officer....there is no point in talking to useless customer care people..These private players try all dirty means to extract their customers hard earned bucks...duhh!:wall:

Strange, check on anyone else who might have used your mobile; especially kids.they may have visited some sites or subscribed to the service accidentally.but you may never know who pulled you up on this....but either ways airtel should help u on this....visit their store directly & have it rectified....

I had the same problem and after nearly 14 calls to customer care in 6 days, this has stopped.I was charged (hold your breath)... 2,300 rupees for this crap as value added services.:wall:Still fighting out with Airtel. Escalated it and yesterday, got a call from some guy who said he works at CEO's office... He told me that the problem will be resolved in 48 hours!fingers crossed!Note: I am a post-paid user.

Thats hell lot of money:evil:, I won't stay with such a provider once the Payment is reversed.

Most probably they'll credit your account and would not refund cash.
