@ghpk what is the version of the mobile partner software in your screenshot?
Mobile partner 16.001.06.01.500

may be

I also don't get new plans by *567#
I can see the activation/deactivation and Rs.98 plan by this.

In Airtel Karnataka circle, apart from above mentioned 4 plans, i can also see Rs 98(2GB/30Day) when i dial *567#
Seems airtel did some change as last night i was without a plan and balance was as it is, while i checked now and its renewed and balance deducted.

well yeah. cannot see if the 98 plan is totally discontinued.
looking at these smaller plans, there seems to be no reason that 98 rupee 2GB plan is discontinued.

Yeah atleast for now, as its renewed I am relaxed for one month, as BSNL 3G is dead in my town again, 10kbps however doesn't opens any site.
I was going to do Rs.2500 recharge and this problem now stopped me indefinitely as
even senior officers don't have any ETA, may be a few months.

ok thanks. :)

mine is 16.001.05 version. It doesn't have the USSD menu. Can it be updated to this latest version?

Yes you can upgrade to newer version, don't know how come your version 15 doesn't have USSD where mine earlier version which was "11.302.09.01.539"
has this USSD and voice call option.
There are many sites offering different mobile partner in version 16 itself.

Anyway got a SMS from Airtel now, which technically should have reached me on 31st or 1st.

what is this software you guys are using? does it work through bluetooth? or cable?

^^ you mean mobile partner or copy pasting the SMS text?Anyway I am using mobile partner with my Huawei USB modem, which lets me use voice/sms/ussd/data connection.

ah the usb modem. i thought this enables you to control your phone through your computer using bluetooth (make/receive calls and sms :D )

No this doesn't work as phone/PC remote however i get those options in Blackberry Desktop Manager andalso I get similar remote dial, music, internet option when I connect my Galaxy 3 to win7.

I remember when I used to rely on Hutch's flat-rate Rs.99 uncapped GRPS.....in 2004. Jesus, you'd think we would evolve instead of going ass-backwards. -_-

I am using Airtel (Madhya Pradesh). I could confirm that I see both 1GB@60 and 2GB@98 plans along with a few other plans when I dial *567#. Have been using Airtel GPRS for several months and I only saw the 1GB plan since past 3-4 days. Hope this information is helpful.
