@Ajay15 i dont know man , all i have been told is that they are making some changes in backend & these will be applied slowly throught all regions.
I wasn't told of the OLT upgrade ,that was guessed by someone else on the thread.
I called them, and they connected me with the tech department. They set my Airtel_router to Bridge mode and instructed me to use the LAN#3 port. The process was simple.
@macfan007 what were you trying to fix?? can you please explain ,did you get the same issue?? can you give some context ,its hard to understand from the limited context in the post.
@RKhan21 getting below or occassionly around 200 mbps now (sometimes even lower),earlier i used to get consistent 220-240 mbps.
No issues here. Getting 120 Mbps on 100 Mbps plan. Speedtest gives 230 Mbps combined download speed. This combined download speed is ueseless except on Steam which uses IPv4+Ipv6 connections to download a game.
@prithu mahajan
Just tell them that my speeds used to be around 120mbps(or whatever it is in your case based on plan) and now they have reduced to below 100 ,that and keep pressing them to tell why it is so.
Ask them ki aap apne senior se baat karao koi hai to ,if they don't understand.
Changing router wont fix it.
Note: remember to see if IPV6 is working for you ,if not ask them to enable IPv6,that helps with speeds too. They are disabling it in jammu on some connections for some weird reason.
