Airtel performance in bangalore

guys.am new here.am staying in BTM layout..got myself a 256Kbps airtel connection (DSL) & am waiting for it to be installed..(signed the form today)was wondering what kinda speeds u ppl get in bangalore.during daytime,night & using different bandwidth.

usually in DSL, u get around 85-90% (minimum) of your bandwidth...the rest 10-15% is the transmission loss, that too depending on few factors...so in other words u get ur whole bandwidth what u've opted for...that's DSL technology...enjoy!!!

heres' a snapshot of my current ISP...64kbps .
yes...they had 256 kbps option....but u guys know.......cable interent is not supposed to be dependable ...

well, that's true with cable...ur speed is directly proportional to the no. of ppl on the line...and usually it's slower than what u opt for...so consider urself lucky in that case and enjoy it till u get it!!!

Hey i too stay in BTM Layout, did you got connection? Howz the speed? I stay in 29th main will they provide connection here?
