Actually I'm on Airtel 512Kbps NU scheme for past one and a half years and till now I never got billed in excess for what I've not been using. As people said I've registered with Self-care and check my usage everyday. My NU starts from 2100 hrs - 0800hrs every night. I usually log in by 9:05 pm serving as a buffer. Try that... I hear only 9AM to 8PM plans... If your downloading from 7PM till 9PM for 12 Days then you'd be charged around Rs.4000 to Rs.5000 which I guess is what happening. Kindly confirm ur free usage hours with Airtel CC and proceed. Now if they are waiving you off ur monthly bills then I think there's some problem in their end too.. Otherwise they do not do that very often...
