@IfranAli all were already discussed, in fact i uploaded the screenshot of the G3 V2 in this thread. Access onu_sn.htm page, specify GPON serial number in hex format and give other required details as per the screenshot i shared. Then do VLAN search mostly in transparent mode, but it was working for me in VLAN Tag mode too.

I tried Hariselios config letter to letter, as well as GPON SN and all the other fields I could put in onu_sn.htm
With that, and without just via GponSN. And other combinations in onu_sn.htm
Yesterday evening I tried it on my neighbours connection as well, same fatbox/OLT, but some Dragonedge ONT.
Didnt work, Vlan scan just fails everytime. Both with G3 V1 & V2.
Without Vlan Scan just tagging it 100, both on G3 and AX12 too, didn't work.

What I can guess in my limited experience is, G3 does not have enough tweakables, like Sw1/Sw2 to make it work with the notorious ALCL OLT. I think it doesn't have telnet support as well to run Vlan Search commands.
Or maybe Airtel has some special sauce in their configs in the backend.
In any case, G3V1 or even V2 isn't a foolproof working solution as per my experience.

I am in talks with BSNL as they provide Static IP and I know the LCO around here.

Yo @akshay71 , you're MIA man.
Read about a few more cases with G3 and Airtel not working here.
I thought we were just 2 mins away from being up and running.
Yet, all you pulled out was a "Sw1/Sw2 are important".
Well .. happy realisation! Can't edit those in onu_sn fyi. You didn't know?
Just confirming, cos I've been seeing you evangelising GeeThreeWeeOne in Latex Tighties around here.

"OnLy comMEnT wHen YoU hAve ONU IN yoUr hAnD. YOU are SErIOusLY BeiNG dIsrEsPECtfuL aND wAstING eVeryONe'S tiME." lmao, my bad.

@gayad you dont need to get aftermarket crap to configure static ip
if you wanna configure static ip in your router just contact the customer support and they'll arrange a technician visit and he'll speak to the NOC team and they'll configure static ip remotely on your router

@iYuvrajMehta hey buddy!
Read your reply on the BSNL post rn. I have switched from Airtel-BSNL.
The Airtel chaps on-ground are kinda incompetent right at par with this one IBF wannabe.
Lot of yapping, little substance.
I know the LCO here in PLA. His son does everything and is at google rn helps his father with stuff just in case. Cool guy.
The BSNL AGM seemed really nice and helpful.

About the config, the Thread Title now is kinda off cause very early we somehow derailed into the benefits of using own ONT and what not.
None of which worked btw .. heh.
You'd need to read through for context, but I'd advise not waste time on it.
TLDR is I've ordered the DG-GR6011 going to put it on bridge and get the invoices rolling back again.

@iYuvrajMehta I got TP-Link G7, G3v2, G3v1 and none of that shit worked with my Airtel ... heh.
Digisol DG-GR6011 seems to be a VSOL rebrand, and LCOs son talked to me for like an hour nerding out on stuff and was like he'll put it on bridge no sweat. That's everything I need.
I confirmed and they use VSOL OLT & GPON, so my G3v1 will work just in case and he will take care of any issues with MAC or what not, and maybe offload one G3 since it's all debunked now.
I opted for the 200 mbps @999 with Static IP @2k/y to start with, might switch to 300 mbps later.

@gayad What about the installation cost ? Please give a review after the installation of the BSNL FTTH
