Airtel V-Fiber Broadband New Plans (October 2019)

You wouldn't believe I play online games for fun at night and so many people laughs on my face that India's capital doesn't have Fiber Broadband anywhere (any ISP providing Fiber Broadband is very limited and like in same area. Like ACT is providing Fiber in the same area where Airtel is). So majority of the Delhi is not having Fiber at all.
I would say one thing, Airtel needs some serious competition. I don't give a shit what FUP Reliance offers. But I want customers to shift to Jio without thinking of 10 GB of difference on plans.
Because what I know is that.
Even if Airtel looses 100 Customers in my area, they will cry their asses and install Fiber in our area.
Fiber is a hype train. Everyone will jump upon it. Airtel knows it but they are just doing shaddy business now.
P.S.: People here say I have sweet spot for Airtel, I don't have. I appreciate an ISP for their goods and criticise them for their bads.

Whole Point is not what you've replied though.
But, Let me ask it this way. Are you okay paying 799 for 8 Mbps Down and 1 Mbps Up when someone else is paying same money for 100 Mbps (Up and Down)?
Don't you think you should be paying 200-300 only for this low speed?
At-least if you cannot enjoy high speeds, it's at-least not over charging you either.

Yeah I've heard a lot about Delhi's internet situation through my friends.
Luckily here in chennai, Fiber coverage is damn good except for the very outskirts of the city and tariff is reasonable with the exception of Airtel.
Airtel doesn't even have a 1% fiber coverage here, though they own a submarine cable landing station and thier biggest data center facility in South India right here in chennai.

They are not very transparent with their Plans.
This plan was up just for one day.
similarly 2 months ago i got a plan 100mbps UL/999
and 40Mbps UL/699.
this was also only up for one day.
And they are extending their fiber coverage at a very slow pace.
There is a fiber terminal around 150mtr away from my house. but they won't upgrade my connection ftth unless few more people take new connection in my area. so i asked my technical guy to make a request on his end. now i m just waiting them to install their DP( hopefully they do).
Unlike airtel,Tata Sky and ACT is extending their Network way faster and covered alot of area.
