@Karan No change in line rate. It's same before and after restart. Same for SNR and
attenuation rate no change in them
I used to get line rate 50mbps but now it's 39-40 Mbps.

Ok, I would assume that the same speed drop occurs on all devices, i.e its not just limited to one device? If that is the case then one of two things could be the issue, the modem itself or something on airtel's end.

@manojrk Okay so you don't have something like this in your router?

Also can your recommend any other settings which can try to cause no LINK DOWN/Frequent Disconnection?

I recently took airtel connection. They have installed beetel modem. I am facing too frequent connection drops. I suspect one issue could be too many customers and the system trying to accommodate every one of them. Need to confirm. I also tried unchecking all the protocols below 17a. The disconnections are less. But yodsy being saturday, this could be natural, particularly if the reason is overloaded connection numbers. Need to check on monday too. Enabling G.INP does not establish connection at all. So also "special vectoring".

The main issue is that Beetel modem, playing with settings doesn't help at all. You probably need a firmware upgrade and even if that doesn't solve your issue then you have to get your line or wires checked by Airtel engineers.
In my case and others a firmware upgrade fixed the disconnection issue. Can you check what firmware you are on and confirm?

My nephew took Airtel BB two weeks back, my friend also got it a week ago. Both living in my street only.
I warned them about modem issues already. They both received Beetel modems only. So far so good:emoji_thumbsup:

4uziaul, how did you do firmwire upgrade?
You raise a complaint for your issue and Airtel engineers will come and check your issue and will probably upgrade your firmware. That's the first thing they do in fact. And if they don't do it, then ask them to do it.

Thank you. I had raised several complaints. But they did change FW. I will ask them tomorrow. Thank you
