This is something good... this will lead to good competition/price war... and I just hope my cable operator also switches to A la carte... he made me pay for STB for no reason and forcing me to take all channels.

ah well. i can see that this mode would not be popular with a lot of folks. for me, it is pretty cool. as i do see a very limited number of channels. but in the end, you do go on channel surfing and find yourself landing on some good content on a channel you usually do not see. would be worth it to see how this turns out in the future.
