@f0r3he4d there's some ongoing issue with transit to Europe. Even AWS has increased pings from Mumbai to Frankfurt, from ~120 ms to now 200+. If you find you're getting full speed to AWS in India then might as well grab a Lightsail and create a point to point tunnel from it to your US stuff.

@royalroy from the way i heard them speak they want me to provide a reason as to why i use the service, they arent taking cdn speedtests seriously so i thought a private server will help me prove a point.
@thatayush yes im aware i just checked tata undersea cable is currently facing issues. but the problem is im not facing issues on ipv4 only ipv6 transits im facing extremely low bandwidth and my current VPS provider has ran out of ipv6 addresses to give out. :(

Linode (acquired by Akamai) provides speed tests on its VPSs; it is meant to serve your exact purpose. It's not a CDN. But yeah, linode/ akamai has good peering with TATA, which is why I would expect it to show good results on Alliance.

yeah but they are asking me a reason as to what i do here for them to care to fix it. i guess ill just stick to ipv4 for now.

Just updated the comment above^^. They won't fix it for you. You don't pay them enough for their senior network architects to dedicate their 'costly' time to fix your very esoteric problem. That's just how businesses work. :)

You shouldn't look at the packet losses on the intermediate nodes -> they are designed to transit traffic and deprioritise ICMP/ ping traffic.

in the case for bsnl i never had to deal with this since i used to get the bandwidth i paid for across all websites whether EU or US. I guess i need to get a backup connection from a tier 1 isp anyway.

reverse traceroute from new york seems a bit on the high as well.

Their IPv6 implementation is shoddy at best. Disable IPv6, their IPv4 infra is pretty resilient AFAIK. I had once requested them for IPv6 back in 2021-22. They gave me one and I got >400 Mbps speeds (basically, their uncapped bandwidth for my location) on IPv6 while I was on their erstwhile 60 Mbps plan, haha. They had not implemented any bandwidth restriction then. They seem to have reversed the issue. LOL.
