so documents are submitted through the app itself. on your own phone. no physical copies required.
the guy said that his presence is mandatory for verification.

yep he 'll take ur photo with his phone camera.

i have no faith in person who comes for verification.
ekyc is much safer is my opinion

person visiting is mandatory. all the data is sent from your own phone. the guy is just there to verify that it's you who is uploading the scanned copies of pan and voter id card along with selfie. he told me that the app on his phone records his location data so he had to visit my place for the documents to be uploaded. his presence is mandatory.

their documentation indicated that he would take photocopies, seal it in an envelope in front of you which would be sent to Amazon. but that process seems to have changed with everything happening on customer's device.

I too uploaded the selfie, pan and voter ID through app but later realised doing the same in front of their delivery agent (when he comes to deliver an order of mine)would have been lot faster plus would have got ₹200 cb.
Having uploaded it on my own, now I had to schedule a verification and the guy will come to collect/verify the documents and photo.

Got a message today from Amazon to complete full KYC otherwise will not be allowed to use Amazon Pay. Theres no option to upload Aadhaar card as proof of address. Anybody done their KYC with aadhaar? Otherwise will have to wait for Voter Id card to get updated with new address.

I did this in early Jan. The guy came and picked up the physical copies of the documents and had to sign a form. This was done on Jan 3rd however I got the KYC verification successful mail only on Jan 28th that too after multiple followups with them.

As per the initial mail, it should have been completed within 7 days of submitting the documents.

Anyway its done and I got the cash back of Rs 200 as well! :D
