Is it true that we can get apay card without income proof(they will issue it on the basis of cibil score)?.

It was true in 2019. Not anymore. Currently they are very strict to issue any card.

When I applied for Amazon card - first I said "self employed" and they immediately denied my application without even doing KYC. i.e. did not even go to next step.

Then I tried from another Amazon account and picked salaried. This time it went ahead. Asked for bank details, salary slip. And then to video KYC stage.

Video KYC stage wasted so much time for me. It kept asking me to wait till representative is available. And then location verification kept failing on iPhone (and I had to restart - again wait for representative - try GPS again).

And then eventually I tried Android phone and it worked.

And then it took them 10 days to deny my application.

I delayed buying washing machine and some furniture just waiting for the card.

So much waste of time for me.

Amazon lost an customer. As now I will buy them offline.

When I am trying to apply for the Amazon card, I didn't get video kyc option. When did you apply it? @amish

I have diners black. Support is equally dumb on working out resolution. Only better communication skills.

I will never use such a thing because you may get a income tax notice explain the source of funds to pay your card bills

Ah! Seems nice idea. May be useful incase of emergencey. But since I already have another card, I may not need it. (atleast not frequently)

You are not getting my point. Suppose I want to make transaction on Amazon, and you pitch in to do it.
When the transaction is executed by you, you will have to make payment to your card.

You can ask him to pay directly to the card.
Bet way is to get money from friend via transfer only no cash.

Well as per process, you make payment only after other party deposits the money + your commission to UMC escrow account.

So you use your card only after you know that your money is already with UMC.
