Can you blame people if they are feeling a little scepticle about Hayai now? Its been almost 2 years since the buzz started. There has to be something concrete visible to us. MGC claims that upon completion of all his permits and licenses etc he can launch in Mumbai within 2-3 weeks. For that to happen his infrastructure will have to be ready. So this activity has to be visible on the streets of Mumbai.
The proof of the pudding is in the eating!
https://broadband.forum/others/66291-attention-internet-users-vikhroli-and/ thread still has no responses. Whats wrong in asking if anyone has seen anything on the road? If MGC is not offended by this question why are you? Dont act like a self appointed guardian of MGC. He can take care of himself.
Of course I'm not offended. I would have hoped that there would be more IBF users from the area though, and I'm disappointed that no-one has responded. Unfortunately the main reason infrastructure was started there first is because it's HNS home area and it's easy for us to gain a foothold since we're tied with them - probably if we were tieing with Fivenet for bandwidth and backend, maybe we'd be starting in Sion instead (who knows, I'm just saying).
Even I will subscribe to Hayai as soon as it launches. Who wouldnt want a super fast internet connection? But so far everything seems to be on paper. That a project of this magnitude will take time is a given. Doesnt matter if it takes another year to start but please let him say it so. At least the speculation will stop.
All of us here are wanting Hayai to succeed because it will benefit us all. Instead of passing snide remarks amongst oursleves let MGC answer our queries.
Peace!
That's half the problem - nobody really knows how long it will be before we, well, more accurately *I* get the go-ahead to launch this thing. For all I know it could be a year.
Of course, if it is going to take that long, then I may have to disinclude myself from perhaps being a director or being a shareholder or something so that we don't have to wait. There are still those options but I hope we don't have to take them.
