Please suggest best option in price range of 20K-25K.
I finalised HTC Desire 816, but it is out of stock in my region. Flipkart is having 3rd party sellers who are looting and selling it arounf 27K.
What about Moto X ?
Can Nexus be considered ? It is listed at around 27K on Flipkart.
@Chromaniac - That's funny because today itself I met 2 other people that share your plight. Moto X is a good enough phone to leave Nexus laying on it's shelf.
Not looking forward to Nexus 6? layful:
For some reason I had worse performance issues on my Note 3. Finally I had to do a factory reset(now use dr. Ketan ROM which is much better ) to get back to normal. But I still see occasional fraction of a second lag though it is really not annoying as I initially had.
I have no problems with Nexus 5. But it is a very boring phone. Moto X just has the things that I would have love to have on my phone. I take a lot of photos from my phone. Nexus 5 has a camera launcher from the local screen but the feature on Moto X is just too good in comparison. Plus of course... the voice features... I hate turning on the phone just to set an alarm... Takes way too long... Moto X would have been perfect for me. But then I love the display on my 5... I had 720p on Galaxy Nexus I believe. It was alright as well.
Like i said in my previous post, device is slower on paper but in reality the performance difference is barely seen. Moto X user experience unmatched yet, props to active notifications and touch less controls. And sagar you missed the AMOLED advantage of moto x which results in great improvement in battery life.
@Chromaniac I just like your post because you summed up the fight between Nexus 5 and Moto X by calling Nexus 5 boring. Yes that's the word.
I think the reason behind this must be that Nexus is a developer phone and hence no fancy tidbits.
But Moto, also developed by Google, has to have something cool in order to survive the competition from Nexus itself.
@HerpDerp - May be. Didn't knew AMOLED is good for battery. But I think overall battery life is better on HTC. So shouldn't that be better?
What say?
AMOLED is good for better because black is black not dark gray. No power is used to light up pure black areas. Something like that. So apps and themes with predominantly black areas would consume less power.
