I am looking to buy a new phone for myself. No specific budget in mind.

I am currently using a Pixel 6 Pro but the battery life is terrible and after upgrading to Android 13 it has become even worse. After charging to 100% overnight, it drops to 50% by 12PM.

I just need something with a good camera and good battery life. Also, at least 120 Hz display.

I checked the Mi 11 Ultra but the battery life seems bad and also the image processing algorithm is quite poor.

Mi 12s Ultra seems to somehow have a worse camera than Mi 11 Ultra plus is China only so the ROM will be filled with bloatware.

Sony Xperia 1 IV had a promising camera but seems to have a lot of heating problems and the camera in general only works well if you it use with a tripod etc. and in professional mode.

I think that only leaves the S22 Ultra - I haven't used a Samsung phone in ages but didn't like their comic sans inspired skin the last time although looks like it's a lot more professional looking now.

Not sure if there are any other options.

Fonts can be changes on Samsung phones. They have some inbuilt fonts, while some fonts (developed by Samsung) can be downloaded from Galaxy Store for free.
Regarding heating, I am reading about it in lots on reviews on Amazon for S22 series. Though somewhere I read that S22 Ultra has some heat dissipation technique which is not in S22/S22+, so Ultra remains cooler compared to S22/S22+.

So, I was also thinking whether to go for "Moto Edge 30 Pro Ultra" (long name :D) aka Moto X30 Pro which is launching soon. But I am too much into Samsung ecosystem.

Someone at work was selling their one month old S22 Ultra at a good price so I got it. If I don't like it, I should be able to sell it off for a minimal loss.

Not sure how much worse the Exynos version is this time though.

If small size is a requirement, then look for models from Asus Zenfone. Don't recall the model number but I think it was 9z.
If she's camera centric person, then either a Samsung or Apple device would suit her. Apple mini is one option.
