anyways... it is not hardware related.. right ?? it is digital zoom.. maybe some photography app can solve it...and den as per my knowledge digital zoom just crops and reduces quality.. cropping can be done post-clicking...for video making it can be a problem deviating from the topichow does the microphone perform when recording video in noisy places in the nexus s...in my Galaxy s when doing some recording at a party with loud music... during playback noise is 100% distorted and you can't make out a thing you won't be able to hear the music.. it is completely distorted
right. zoom is just digital zoom. so its not that big of a deal. but for picplz i publish photos instantly. and i prefer focusing on the area i want to highlight. as for microphone. i did read that N1 has better noise cancellation compared to NS. and it is pretty apparent. in many ways, NS is turning out to be a crappy upgrade to N1.
Just checked my Nexus-S 's version (auto update) - It is 2.3.4 ( 6 months old brought from US)My wife has Nexus One. I feel HTC build quality is better. Bright screen.I took a few video/ snaps when I went to my kid's school sports day.Otherwise Listen to music once in a while. Win amp net radio some time. My trading apps (stock, futures broker) used to crash before. Now not any more. Twitter works 24 hours. Read some newspapers thro News app 5-10 mins when I have time.otherwise all mail ( Gmail, yahoo app) , Bloomberg,CNBC, Reuters apps and follow lot of Financial blogs . Browser used mostly when opening link or my usual 10-15 important business related web pages.Battery ( with out using WiFI) still sucks. Continous browsing not more than 5 hours. if I get in to train say at Hyderabad /Chennai/Bangalore at say 5 -6pm(fully charged)( for a 12 to 14 hour journey mostly) , By midnight the phone will die sure.So to preserve battery switch off and re start just before major stations if I want to push till 2am ( USA - 4 pm)If travelling in 3rd Ac/2nd A/c no problem- can keep charging thro my notebook. In Sleeper mostly lot of people hanging near toilet to charge their phone.
