Thanks Lerry. That's just the functionality I'm looking for, but at $200, it's way expensive. I'm looking for $80-$100 (4000 INR).

Thanks for the suggestion Anoop. He has a sim router that costs 7k. I'm looking for something cheaper ~4k.

Hi Kayc,

SIM router will cost you a minimum of $ 120... Since the module used in the route is quite expensive when compared with an ordinary one.
You just have a look at my website at www.3gstore.in .. I am Deepak...

I think you will find a solution throught my website.

Thanks,

Deepak

And Guys,

For your information, we have supplied this router with BSNL 3G SIM card to all the outlets of HOPCOMS. next time when u come across Hopcoms, just have a look.. Its all working extremely fine and the client is very very happy about the product

Hi Deepak,

It seems great product but would you please answer these few questions?

1. WiFi standard B, G or N (N would be preferred)
2. USB port (attach external hard disk, file sharing, print server etc)
3. BitTorrent Client (no need to keep your pc up all the time)
4. RADIUS support (for better security)

An OpenWRT or dd-wrt supported wifi N router with USB port, you will have all these functionalities.

Regards

Amit, am not a pure techy guy, but understand some basic stuff. for your above questions, 1. its B & G not N .. 2. no USB 3. correct 4. upto 300 mts is what manufacturer claim, but its better we stick to 100 mts

Thanks Deepak. I'm sure your products are good, though I can't yet afford them :-) Are there cheaper SIM routers which don't have wi-fi, just a coupleof plain old ethernet ports in my budget ?
