I am pretty excited about what Apple would launch through their iCloud initiative. This is probably the first time they are going to directly take on Google which has dominated the web based services platform till now. Google's own range of services are pretty scattered around. Picasa Web is totally detached from Docs. Same thing with Google Music. I cannot store all my files at a centralized place. This is pretty sad. Apple iCloud could offer a centralized platform for all your online hosting. Apple iOS 5 is expected to be deeply connected with iCloud. I can think of a situation where everything on your iPhone is backed up on your iCloud account automatically (based on your preferences)... I hope Apple launches some amazing shit next week which puts pressure on Google to replicate the same for Android.

Apples World Wide Developer conference is scheduled on 6th June .. iOS 5 and iPhone 4s is scheduled to announced on the same day ...

Apple announced on Tuesday that in less than a week, Chief Executive Steve Jobs will return to the stage, along with a team of company executives, to present Mac OS X 10.7 Lion and iOS 5 -- and to introduce its new iCloud service.

The Worldwide Developers Conference keynote will begin Monday, June 6 at 10 a.m. Pacific Time. Apple confirmed that it will show off the now-officially-named iCloud, dubbed "Apple's upcoming cloud services offering." No additional details were given.

Hmm I don't no if I m that excited about this... What use will be cloud service if I don't have a decent 3G plan to utilize that service... 3G is either too costly (Vodaphone) or too unstable(Bsnl)... So apples iCloud or googles future cloud service seem quite useless for us folks here in India until we get good VFM 3G mobile service...

Yay!!!! We get to see Stevie again ... I m hoping they are gonna announce improvements in OSX with better support for games coz gaming on my MacBook is pathetic as of now ...

in additional to 3G we need to have decent mobile too for taking benefit of cloud service...

Err all the phones(iPhone) that Apple's cloud service will be available on are pretty decent phones...

Yesterday Apple officially took control of the domain icloud.com, according to records at Domain Tools, which had previously listed Xcerion as its owner. Apple is said to have bought the domain from Swedish software company Xcerion earlier this year for $4.5 million.
