Apple has confirmed to The Verge that its NFC chip in the iPhone 6 is restricted to Apple Pay, the company’s new mobile payments platform. That means pairing to Bluetooth speakers or exchanging contacts, URLs, and photos with a tap won’t work initially.
i have owned 3 nfc capable devices i believe. have never really used nfc in real life. though in america it would suck because i guess Apple wants to block access to google wallet on their devices.
It is best for payments and connecting devices like wireless speakers. Sharing data is also fine. I have played with it several times on my own devices. In reality? Not so much.
I cant stand the reviews on the new iPhones... Suddenly, "veryyy big for many" con has disappeared - which they used in all Galaxy Note series reviews
One good news is I should be getting iOS 8 update soon on my ~3.5years old iPad 2. Samsung would have used the old hardware and new software and called iPad Neo.... That's what is going to happen to my Note 3...
Note 4 Neo will have all the new SW only features...
They would just update the base android version and forget this Note 3 ( and there will be many bugs )
