Environmentally unfriendly they say?
Who'd like to get rid of their expensive Sapphire crystals? :D

It will impact their business and that's why they are bad mouthing the sapphire or whatever. In short Unki fat gayi hai since one of their biggest customer (Apple) may have stopped using their glass in their flagship device.

Yup. I think it would be awesome if Apple uses sapphire crystal in their next iPhone. It would force the competition to adopt it as well. Anything for a more rugged display in smartphones.

Ah well. This is a good thing if Samsung and other manufacturers also switch to sapphire for their display front panels. Vertu of course has been using it for a long time now.

It's coming.

Apple to hold 'iPhone 6' media event on Sept. 9.

Lots of speculations for two new variants 4.7" & 5.5", next-gen A8 processor, thinner design. I wonder whether they will include faster processor for 5.5" variant or not.

Apple going for Phablet. Dayum. Couldn't have imagined it a few years back. I wonder how will they advertise that you can reach all of the phone's screen with one hand, like with every other iPhone..
