Till they provide some kind of contract offers like they provide with At&t etc .. there is not much hope for any huge market for Apple in India .. Rs15-20k in contract can be huge .. Aircel and Airtel give iPhone 4 on contract but still charge 30+k .. Who is going to buy tht??Few days back I was reading the news tht Apple sold same amount of iphone4 in India as they did in Norway ..

well. regular contracts cannot and would not work in india. reverse subsidy sort of works. but Apple needs to remove the premium they charge for their brand in india. price the device in the same range as competing androids and they would simply fry the competition.

I don't think they can provide anyway near to the same price range as android ..Banks nowadays check the payment history before granting loans .. I guess telephone companies can do tht same ..

no. i am just saying that if iPhone was priced competitively to android devices, a lot more people would go for iphone because of the brand factor. currently there is a difference of around 7-8K between the top android model and the top iphone model. i am not saying that i would go for the iphone myself.

Apple seems to have adopted a Tick-Tock strategy. The 3GS improved on the 3G, but wasn’t a completely new design, that came with the iPhone 4. And now the iPhone 4S improves on the previous model, again without being a complete redesign.

It's a strategy that works, the previous generation of iPhone well proved that. But are the changes enough to justify an upgrade? Some people were underwhelmed when they heard there's no "iPhone 5", while others cheered when they saw Siri and the beefier hardware.

Somehow I got the feeling tht Apple was behind schedule in launching iPhone 5... So they added some small things in iphone4 and launched 4s ..Its totally stupid of apple to not come up with new design even after 18 months .. Still there r over millions of order for 4s cos there is no dearth of blind followers of apple
