Friend got it for me 32 GB unlocked from UK today for Rs 35000 (using corp discount coupon)
My current iPhone 4 32 GB is going to be sold for around 25000 (I can still use it for a week before another friend comes to pick it up)
First impressions: Totally underwhelming if you are coming from iPhone 4
Siri can recognize my Brit/desi accent but geographical location help will be available next year. Kinda stuck with grumbling male Siri is unflattering. Cannot say my name yet though.
iPhone 4 lags sometimes. 4S just doesn't lag. This thing is slightly faster than 4.
Camera on this thing is un-frikkin-believable
I will wait for new games to come out which take advantage of 2X CPU speed and 7X graphics speed increase.
Blows Samsung Galaxy 2 out of water when it comes to UI smoothness. I mean its a domination especially in browsermark benchmark.

I knew all these shortcomings and was ready to be underwhelmed. But I like new stuff if it fits my budget.
I had done my calculations and was not ready to fork out more than 15000 for this type of upgrade. I am glad that I outdone myself by spending lesser than expected.
I will do the same thing next year for iPhone 5/6 whatever if it interests me.
Worth spending 50000? f*** no
Worht spending 40000? Only if you are coming from any other phone or 3GS
Worth spending 30000? depends
Worth spending 20000? maybe (If you can sell your old phone to recover most of your money)
Worth spending 10000? Hell yes (If you can sell your old phone to recover most of your money)

Err, u loved it alright, but i wud make a correction here.
Its not worth 10k here. The basics of Costing say that when u forego a resource and buy a new one, then the total cost of the new purchase wud be inclusive of the amount u received for the resource foregone.
To put it in simpler terms, u got 25k, when u sold ur old phone. So in effect its still 35k for u. Its not that in 35k, u are owning both phones. U will be owning just 1.

Whatever the basics of costing may be. I don't know why do you want to correct me. For me I am happy that after using the old iPhone 4 for 1 whole year, I was still able to sell it for 25k and after addition of 10k from my pocket, I got an upgrade to latest 4S.You are fundamentally mistaken when you are calculating worth of phone. I also know that I am not going to own 2 phones. I never intended to do that. Please keep all your BS to yourself. Why don't we just stop here as we may both be right and wrong one way or the other. Thanks for this never the less so I can add more info to my original review post.So yea. totally worth it for me for spending 10k (More of sentimental value) 
PS: Kinda an Apple fanboy at the moment with Android and WP7 devices in household as well. But I will change camps as soon as some rival makes a product which appeals to me the most.
