Apple MacBook Updates

1)MAC OS X (Yes, I capitalized it for a reason)2)Better build quality.3)Comes with a Apple logo. :D4)Long battery life (Around 10 hours)The main reason is Mac OSX, The Upgrades are cheaper.

coz its sucks

No coz people buy it.You see any english movie, anywhere you'll find just MAC's.

TBH people should use it first before commenting.

i have owned a macbook. i do not like it. there you go. :)i like the build quality. i like the battery life. what i do not like is mac os x. tried pretty hard but could not get used to it and the typical Apple bullshit insanities.

I don't own a Mac, but have encounters with it during the course of my work. And I hate it. It feels counter intuitive. Heck, Linux feels much easier.

i had rather buy a much more capable laptop from some other company at similar prices. trust me, macbooks might be cool and all that... i had rather pay for more powerful hardware at the same price. build quality and battery life can be compromised upon.

It really isn't like no one makes laptops with the same build quality as the Macs. That's just a myth. For instance, a head on comparison of the X220 and the MBP would show the former to be a much more capable and equally (if not more) sturdy device at the same price point of the latter. Apple charges a premium for their halo factor, and their 'design aesthetics'. For a user who wants performance, it accounts for zilch. For the ones who like good looking devices rather than performance, Apple is the way to go.

well build quality can be acquired i believe. matching battery life is hard. Apple's own figures are mostly understated. most PC makers on the other hand promises a lot more than what their products deliver. but the point remains... if you buy a laptop matching the 'price' of a macbook, you are going to get a much better product for the buck. people end up comparing 40K laptops with 70K laptops from apple.

White MacBooks are discontinued now. MacBook Air and MacBook Pro are currently updated ones.

Just to chip in. Got a mid 2011 21" base iMac for Rs. 69000 with total 3 years AppleCare warranty for business. My price conscious grand dad's jaws dropped when he saw it for the first time. After using it for a month, he told me that it was totally worth it's price.

So you have to ask the question to yourself. Is that Mac going to be worth it for me? Go with your conscience.

Simple, isn't it? :)
