and you think Apple wants to become a mass manufacturer and seller of smartphones globally. if they did, they would have undercut android devices in all markets around the world. from what i have heard, they already make more 'profit' than all smartphone manufacturers combined through their one model iPhone! they lose the premium nature of their brand hence. they are doing pretty good with their strategy right now. becoming a mass player in markets where they not have extensive support network just hurts their brand value. if everyone around is going to carry an iphone, what would be the charm in owning an iphone? (of course this already applies in the us market where you are just expected to own an iphone and you are seen as weird if you own one of the androids i suppose). there is no charm in owning an iphone. you just buy the new one whenever it launches if you have the resources to do so.never mind. it is just personal opinion and i should just shut up and move on
